Pure London, UK’s leading trade fashion buying event, opened on a significant note on February 11, 2018, showcasing over 700 womenswear and menswear brands including a significant increase in brands offering ethical collections and an ethos supporting a more sustainable future. The event will be held from February 11 to 13, 2018, in London, UK.

A selection of ethical and sustainably produced brands showing at Pure London include Thought, Armedangels, Tretorn, Nomads Clothing, Dedicated Brand, BabyMo by Hinterveld, ILK+ERNIE, GR Nature, Freespirit, Barts, A-WEAR-Ness, Unisa, Jalabiyé, Shokay, and The Mermaid Cave.

Curated show sectors including womenswear, menswear, athleisure, footwear, and accessories will deliver a stunning range of collections expertly selected to match buyer’s needs. Visitors will discover the best in new and exclusive brands showcasing the latest trends and movements for AW18/19.

Pure Man now features its own dedicated entrance reflecting the growth of this sector, and across all sections of the show visitors will be introduced to a host of emerging design talent.

On February 11, 2018, Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief, Farrar Storr, delivered a keynote address on the Main Stage, and throughout the three-day event visitors can attend free seminars presented from the Main, Future, and Origin stages as well as book in one-to-one advice sessions with the Meet the Experts programme.

Pure London is now the UK’s only fashion and sourcing trade show linking manufacturers, fabric suppliers, designers, logistics, brands, and retailers and is the first stop on the fashion calendar to source forward trends for both AW18/19 and SS19. Exclusive future trend insights will be delivered by WGSN and catwalk shows bring to life next season’s key looks.

Julie Driscoll, managing director of Pure London said, “I feel passionately about finding and supporting brands who put their ethics first and we’re delighted to champion such a large number of new brands this season. With the Pure Origin content programme focusing heavily on creating a sustainable future in manufacturing and the supply chain, 2018 looks set to force a sea change in the fashion industry.” (GK)
