The India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW), a joint initiative of Craftworld and Event Capital, and Asia’s largest platform for kids fashion industry has come up with its fifth edition in India.

The three-day fashion extravaganza and exposition will take place in Mumbai and New Delhi. The shows will be held from June 3-5 in Mumbai and from June 17-19 in Gurgaon.

The 2016 edition of IKFW will see buyers from India and participation from retailers across Middle East and Asia. All the brands and designers participating in the mega show will be displaying their collections, including apparels and accessories.

Manoj Mahla, director, Craftworld Events said, “Indian designers are tryingto fill the void in the segment of kids’ fashion. Some of them already have their own line of kidswear and several others are choosing to design for children than for adults. After the response we have received to the last three editions of the IKFW, we are now set to roll out another fashion extravaganza that will be bigger than the earlier editions and is set to redefine kidswear India.”

Deepak Choudhary, Director & CEO, Event Capital said, “Parents are now extremely style-conscious and kids, too, do not lag behind when it comes to hitting the right notes. Understanding the potential for kidswear market in India, many international brands have created a strong foothold in the country. We wish to give further impetus to this space with the latest edition of our highly successful fashion show, IKFW,” said Deepak Choudhary, director and CEO, Event Capital in a press release.

The past three editions of IFKW have witnessed creations from designers like Rocky S, Narendra Kumar, Nishka Lulla, Malini Ramani, and Payal Singhal.  Most of the leading Indian kids fashion brands have also been associated with the event and showcased their collections on the IKFW platform.  (HO)
