For the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection, Cesare Casadei imagines to create a new era of Pin-Ups and celebrates the legendary Betty Page, the Queen of Pin-Ups. The “Betty Page” pump features a secret weapon - a hidden high platform - which symbolizes all that is strong, feminine and naughty.
The mix of materials and the varied colour palette reflect the daring side of Casadei’s designs, perfectly balancing creativity and experimentation. The “Betty Page” pump is presented in black leather with fluorescent patent leather toe and heel, and is available in a classic version or as a bootie. Lastly the nude suede pump is enhanced by contrasting neon piping.
The Casadei Betty Page Collection is available at the Casadei boutique in The Dubai Mall and in Galeries Lafayette.
The Casadei label was founded in 1958 by Quinto and Flora Casadei. Quinto Casadei—still at the helm of the footwear and leather facilities of S. Mauro Pascoli in the province of Forli—proved strong and true when he decided to expand his small crafts laboratory, in which he had already started to produce dream footwear of sophisticated workmanship.
