The grand finale of the semi-annual Canadian fashion event ‘Toronto Fashion Week’ was wrapped up by a dazzling spectacle of fantastic creations from a range of extraordinarily talented fashion designers and popular labels.

The Montreal-based fashion label UNTTLD, by designer duo Jose Manuel St-Jacques and Simon Belanger, presented a stunning romantic collection based on Haikus, an extremely short form of Japanese poetry.

The exquisite ensembles, featuring minimalistic simple shapes, are made of lightweight fabrics like rayon, cotton and silk.

The collection showcased a variety of beautiful architectural gowns in tiny accordion pleating, kimono wrapped jackets and army suits in a vivid colour palette of black, white, camo green and an occasional dash of metallic orange.

Designer Sunny Fong showcased his ready-to-wear office friendly line Vawkkin and glamorous clothing range Vawk on the final day of the fashion event.

His Vawkkin was an interesting mix of well cut pant suits and simple black dresses with detailed pleating on the sides.

The designer’s latter collection Vawk was inspired by the styles of bold sexy women like Madonna and Frida Kahlo. The delightful amalgamation of suitings and dresses of the range were complimented with strong lines and sharp tailoring.
