Stylish, comfortable, easy to wear flowing silhouettes at affordable prices are some of the characteristics that best describe the outfits at the newly opened boutique, 'Rekha Damani -    Resortwear' located at Bandra (W), Mumbai.

Started by Rekha & Vivek Damani, 'Rekha Damani - Resortwear' is a one-of-its-kind boutique which sells Resort wear, a fashion concept which is being introduced in India after its growing popularity in the international fashion markets.

It is a specialized clothing style, which can be worn round the year and can be especially flattering for Indian women. The boutique sells kaftans, jumpsuits, swimwear, dresses in beautiful fabrics such as chiffons, georgettes, silk and lycra.

These flowing garments can be worn at beach and resort destinations such as Goa, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand as well as at glamourous places such as the South of France, Dubai, Monaco, Morocco, Caribbean Islands and many more. Closer home, it can be the perfect attire for a casual evening out or a family brunch.

Since these are unstructured garments, they can be worn by everyone and anyone, as the flowing silhouette tends to hide the flaws.

With beach wedding gaining popularity, resort wear is being increasingly seen as the best attire for the bride as well as the marriage party.

Rekha and Vivek Damani have been involved in exports of resort wear to destinations such as Dubai, Mauritius, Maputa and the Caribbean since the last eight years.

"People in Mumbai tend to travel frequently and are in sync with the style trends abroad. Resort wear is fast gaining popularity here and we decided to start the boutique to cater to the demand for exclusive outfits in resort wear which are affordable" says Rekha Damani, co-owner and designer, 'Rekha Damani - Resortwear'.
