The 13th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion event scheduled to be held from January 27 to 31, 2014 would have 30 designers and brands showcasing their autumn winter 2014-2015 collections.

According to a statement issued by the Consortium for Trade, Craft and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM), over 34 fashion shows of various designers and brands would be held during the five-day event, including emerging Catalan designers, as well as apparel firms from the Catalan Association of Textile and Fashion ( ACTM ).

Michael Rodriguez, manager of CCAM, said during a press conference that the 13th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion is an attempt of the Catalan government to increase four elements in the field of fashion namely; training, production, creation and internationalization.

This autumn-winter edition of the show would feature for the very first time a catwalk of creations from renowned Cuban designer Isabel Toledo, who is known for creating a lemongrass yellow wool lace shift dress with matching overcoat for First Lady Michelle Obama, which she wore during the First Inauguration of Barack Obama as the US President.

Designers to showcase during the five-day event include Galician designer Manuel Bolano, designer Celia Vela, Catalan designer Miriam Ponsa, womenswear designer Lebor Gabala, Barcelona-based Selim de Somavilla, and more.

Brands such as Mango, Desigual, Naulover, escorpion, Yerse, Punto Blanco, Torras and more would also be showcasing their autumn-winter 2014-15 collections during the event.
