Held in the Andalusian capital city of Seville, the four-day-long soiree featured nearly 1,300 vibrantly coloured flamenco dresses, created by a talented mix of around 43 young and seasoned designers.

Attended by over 56,000 people, the event witnessed an array of polka dots and ruffles decorated and richly embroidered voluminous petticoat and tight-fit blouse ensembles, designed by the likes of Mari Carmen Cruz, Ana Moron, Antonio Gutierrez, Aldebaran, Margarita Freire and Patricia Bazarot.

As part of the Young Designers Competition, emerging talents Alex de la Huerta (from Seville) and Antonio Gutierrez (Granada) won the Best Collection and Special Mention awards for their respective presentations ‘A Garden on Mars’ and ‘Generalife’.
