Miami gears up for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

The ‘Magic City’ of Miami will become the hotspot for swimwear lovers from across the globe as the seaside city gears up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the forthcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim show.

Slated to take place from July 17th to 21, 2014, the catwalk event will showcase an array of single and two-piece swimsuit, beachwear and resortwear collections from a talented line up of emerging and established labels.

Wildfox Swim, the diffusion line of American vintage-inspired women’s knitwear brand Wildfox Couture, celebrity favoured brand We Are Handsome (by designer couple Jeremy and Katinka Somers), and the California-based designer Angela Chittenden owned Beach Bunny featuring The Blonds label will showcase their bold, colourful, vibrantly printed and metallic creations at the event.

Mikoh (from the California-based design sister duo Kalani and Oleema Miller), L*Space by Monica Wise, Cuban-born Lourdes Luli Hanimian-owned Luli Fama, 6 Shore Road (by Indian designer Pooja Kharbanda), New York-based fashion talent Mara Hoffman, Spanish label Dolores Cortés and Paola Robba’s Poko Pano brand will also showcase their swimwear designs at the five-day soiree, which will be attended by over 10,000 guests.
