New & seasoned labels at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week

The forthcoming 20th edition of the annual Aussie sartorial fest Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW), which is due to take place from August 30 to September 7, 2014, will feature creations by various new and well-established labels and retailers from across the country.
The event will highlight an array of latest spring/summer lines of exquisitely embellished couture, contemporary minimalistic ready-to-wear and stylish street wear ensembles from labels like Anaessia, Aurelio Costarella, Carla Zampatti, Dom Bagnato, Gwendolynne Burkin, Jason Grech, Nicole Angela and Michael Lo Sordo.
Also Alice McCall, the celebrity favoured brand which sells at global retailers like Beams (Japan), ASOS (internationally), Harvey Nichols (UK) and David Jones (Australia), the Sydney-based womenswear label Manning Cartell (founded by the sibling trio Cheryl, Vanessa and Gabrielle) and designers Gavin Lowes and Rebecca Chua owned chic and sharply tailored label Neo Dia will showcase their eclectic apparel designs at the eight-day soiree.
Arthur Galan, the designer who has been participating in the event for the past 12 years and owns around 20 stores across the country, will feature his latest men’s and women’s collections whereas the former Project Runway Australia contestant and British design label Gareth Pugh-trained fashion talent Matcho Suba will showcase his Spring/Summer 2014-15 womenswear range at the event.
In addition to the aforementioned reputed names, young up and coming labels like Aya, CadiaBelante, Eat Me Do, HVNC, Ladyfox, Mikat , Miss Emilie, Neville – Elliven, Sarah makes these, Unempire, C-Lab, INKKSP, Shio, The Sailing Club A light by which to dance, Architact collective, Divya R, Jux, Mimi – Zikki, Nixi Killick, Pomohaci, Pretty parcel, Squeak designs and Tanner + Teague will also feature their creations at the MSFW.
