The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Resource Centre of Western Australia Inc (TCFWA or TCF Australia) will support some of the best up and coming local designers at its upcoming trade event Fashion Exposed Revived.

The organization will allow the designers to feature their latest Spring/Summer 2015/2016 and Winter-2015 collections in womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, lingerie, sleepwear and accessories at the Sydney fair, scheduled to be held from February 20th to 24th, 2015.

Apart from the opportunities to sell their creations at the trade event, the designers, owning a registered business for two years or less, will also be given training, support and assistance to professionally organise and prepare their own media releases, flyers and PR.

Carol Hanlon, the CEO of TCFWA said in a statement, “They will be offered one on one mentoring through the entire trade fair process from preparing their range for exhibiting, setting up to selling to pack up and will have dedicated TCF personal on hand to help them every step of the way.”

In addition to the first-time exposure to the fair, the designers will also get access to business workshops, online mentoring, forums, industry cluster networks, and national and global linkages to small businesses operating in the textile, clothing and leather industry across Australia.

The Fashion Exposed Revived – TCF Australia Emerging Designers Showcase will be sponsored by the Australian Gift and Homewares Association, TCF Australia, TCFWA, TCF Global, Belmont BEC, TCF Energy Efficiency Project and BPW Business Incubator.

Headquartered in Belmont, Western Australia, TCF Australia is a not-for-profit national support centre for the textile, clothing, footwear and leather industry that provides support and specialised resources, services and training. (PB)
