Bridal couturier Sassi Holford will showcase three collections at the sixth edition of UK’s wedding trade event, White Gallery London, due to be held at Battersea Evolution from May 17 to 19, 2015.

The first range will feature dramatic silhouettes crafted from precision draping techniques and fluid bias cuts on lush exquisite fabrics like matt silk, duchesse satin, damask, soft silk crepe and accents of timeless lace. Focused on classic elegance, the feminine figure accentuating range will include an array of cinched at the waist fishtail dresses and glamorous ball gowns, according to a statement from the designer.

Created in association with a young design team, the second assortment has been developed keeping the requirements of young modern day brides, who have an individual sense of fashion and style, in mind. Handmade at the designer’s Somerset ateliers, the range will offer damask and lace tea-length dresses and ball gowns in asymmetric slim silhouettes.

The third collection Couture Veil targets the brides who desire not only the quality of design but also making. The line includes four tulles and a wide selection of trims from simple stitched to gorgeous French lace. The pieces have been handcrafted with appliqué and hand cut, fine lace detailing. The bespoke service also allows brides to create a unique veil.

In addition to the three exquisite ranges, a balanced set of coats, jackets, shrugettes, skirts, sashes and belts complimenting the bridalwear ensembles will also be featured by the designer at the three-day London event.

Apart from Sassi Holford’s fashion showcases, designer Kevin Muscat’s brand Muscat London Bridal will present an array of minimal yet exquisitely feminine handmade contemporary wedding dresses.

Also Harrogate-based designer Hayley Dennison will launch her British-made collection alongside emerging label Ruth Milliam Bridal Couture (known for hand-finished detailed gowns) as well as Spanish brand Cortana (owned by Majorcan-born designer, Rosa Esteva) at White Gallery. (PB)
