Horny Toad to debut most extensive collection to date

Thousands of brands meet in Salt Lake City, UT this week to show off their fall collections at the annual Outdoor Retailer Winter Market tradeshow.

Lifestyle apparel brand Horny Toad keeps it real with ridiculously good looking clothes for 2008, not to mention random nuggets of informational fun such as the best way to make a paper airplane and mix a perfect cocktail.

Horny Toad will debut their strongest and most extensive collection to date, introducing new categories for both men and women including jackets, sweaters as well as play-hard, work-hard pants.

Steadfast pieces such as the Hangover Pant and Edina pullover return with updated fits and additional colors while new designs such as the Klink wool jacket, Sipsey down vest and Commander sweater complete the looks for both outdoors and in.

"The design direction this season is very strong taking inspiration from the 10th Mountain Division. For the men's collection we wanted to give guys a rugged look but without the seriousness so we used fabrics like herringbone and corduroy paired with plaids, patches and ribbed piping.

For women we wanted to create a bit more romance by incorporating floral embroidery, quilting and hip hugging fits," says Senior Designer Eric Gigler.

It ain't easy being green, but every small step counts and for Horny Toad that means making one piece at a time, working with advanced organic blends and sustainable fabrics such as Fly Ply and Tangoas well as recycled zippers for 2008.

The largest industry event, Outdoor Retailer Winter Market hosts over 17,000 attendees including CEOs, industry leaders, outdoor and winter sports manufacturers, 5,000+ retailers, designers, athletes, and media.
