Bollywood's original bad guy Mr. Gulshan Grover created history in the city of Bangalore as he and his entourage of bikers crashed the barricading wall of The Loot cartons at the entrance of the store.

The gang then proceeded to fill their gunny bags with goodies offered at unbelievable prices. This is the most dramatic and unique launch of India's first multi-branded discount store The Loot in Bangalore.

The distinctive inauguration act is now become signature to The LOOT, contrary to the mundane ribbon cutting. The LOOT display furthers the store's integral message – 'Great Steals on Big Brands.'

The LOOT currently operates 30 stores in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Jalandar, Amritsar, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Navi-Mumbai, Mysore, Bangalore, Jabalpur, Raipur and Nashik.

Shortly opening stores in cities such as Bangalore (Bhanshankri and Rajajinagar) , Indore, Patna, Kutch, Vapi, Ghaziabad, Faridbad, Bikaner, Nagpur, Jalgoan, Goa, Pune( Fatima Nagar, Satara Road, M.G. Road, Aund), Guwahati, and Mumbai (Lokhandwala, Santacruz, Bombay Central, Vasai and Kalyan) are on the anvil.

The store is all set to open its 15,000 sq. ft Bangalore store, which is the largest amongst The Loot stores. This first The LOOT store in Bangalore is located on India's top discount street of Marathalli Road.

This is the 30th The LOOT store to open in the country. The LOOT plans to take the city by storm by opening 10 more stores in prime locations.
