Quiet elegance & earthen hues emphasize Sardana's line

'A Quaint Little Town' is a representation of Varun Sardana's construction of reality. His vision of an ideal world which is quirky, slightly dysfunctional but beautiful as a whole is translated in his collection which incorporates an unusual merging of unpredictable elements.

The garments provide a new perspective and the use of diverse elements such as sequins and grid patterns, prints and textures, and origami elements break the monotony.

The colour story included beiges, greys, charcoal blacks all combined with surprising pinks, aqua greens and a break through with shimmer and sheen.

The collection incorporates many weave patterns like the argyle duplicated by embroidery.

The fabrics used for this collection were modern knits, wools, all innovatively teamed up with traditional handlooms.

Silhouettes were fitted, ballooning hems, bubble shorts and shift dresses which were combined with a play of different sleeves as well as dropped shoulders. Cigarette pants, cropped pants with fitted shirts, jackets teamed with the same and a muted combination of soft teal with browns introduced Varun's menswear line to reinterpret classic silhouettes with unconventional fabrics and surface treatments.

Varun Sardana displayed a quiet elegance in his work with a strong statement of assured style and a non-conformist attitude. His clothes are for confident men and women who are comfortable in their skin and are not looking for external elements to validate their stand, “THIS IS ME”.
