LFW designers to represent India at Fashion Coterie

Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) announces its association with Coterie, the world largest and most exclusive trade show. In tune with its philosophy of Integrating India into the Global Fashion World, Lakme Fashion Week continues to extend this support to designers by selecting designers to showcase at Coterie.

Coterie is the worlds most renowned and exclusive trade show in the women's market. Originally known as the Fashion Coterie, Else Kroll has been credited with creating this event.

What started as an experiment is a much emulated prototype and a exclusive banner for the who's who in the international women's wear scenario with over 15,000 retailers visiting the Fashion Coterie. Coterie is instituted by ENK. ENK under its umbrella produces a number of shows associated with fashion and accessories.

Speaking on their participation at Lakme Fashion Week Elyse Kroll commented "The mission of Coterie has always been to discover talent and put it in front of the most exclusive yet powerful retailers in the world.

Thanks to Fern Mallis of IMG, Coterie has been introduced to several important Indian designers over the last several seasons which consequently have been very successful in the US.
