According to Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Vietnam earned nearly US $150.44 million during the first two months of 2008, by exporting various products to Belgium. From the total revenue gained, the share of February was around $61.13 million.
During January and February this year, Vietnam shipped footwear worth almost $50.19 million to Belgium and became the largest currency earning product. The shoe export accounted for 33.33 percent of total export turnover of the country so far.
Other key products that contributed in generating high revenue include textile and garments ot reach nearly $16.8 million. Accessories added approximately $10.5 million to the collective earnings made by Vietnam.
