Bourjois' will be lending their expert advice on all things make-up and beauty at the event and will also be performing mini-makeovers for those who want to make a real impression at the show.

Bourjois are also bringing along their Celebrity Stylist Cassie Lomas, who regularly styles the likes of Twiggy and Charlotte Church, who will be working backstage with the models as well as giving top trend makeup advice to the catwalk audiences.

Manchester's top hairdressers Headmasters will be taking over the hair care element of the event, styling the catwalk models as well as giving demonstrations and advice to visitors and exhibiting a range of their product. Their hair experts are sure to inspire you for your new Autumn/Winter look!

The event will kick off with a fab preview evening on Thursday 2nd October where visitors are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, indulge with a Chambord cocktail and then shop 'til they drop! Hollyoaks' star Carley Stenson and her band Diamond will be at the event to perform a show-stopping set to celebrate the launch of the event and to keep visitors entertained while they browse through all the designer bargains!

Talking about the event, Manchester City Council's Chief Executive Sir Howard Bernstein said, “Given Manchester's heritage in the textile trade, we are delighted to support such a vibrant event as Manchester In Fashion.

It is particularly encouraging that, alongside the main event in Urbis, and associated events across the city, Manchester In Fashion will support and promote the local creative sector, demonstrating the wide range of talent working in fashion across the city and the region. This will be a superb addition to Manchester's calendar of events
