Marlboro Classics introduces Women Spring/Summer Collection

The 2009 Spring-Summer collection for women by Marlboro Classics was conceived for women who seduce by their self-confidence and impose their own multi-faceted style, inspired by the real values that have occurred over time.

Through bright colours, ethnic motifs and embroideries, it's the cool American spirit of the 70's that comes out, especially when one sees the short and light dresses, the shirts and blouses in cotton veil, silk crepe, as well as the "over-dyed" 5-pocket pants of this new collection.

In keeping with a "country week-end" style, green and khaki are the leaders with cuts showcasing modern lines. Materials become technical for practical multi-pocket clothing that includes bermuda skirts, t-shirts as well as very light and feminine tops with printed motifs and patchworks.

The Western woman likes to play at being romantic by dressing in white, off-white, deep or washed out blue, in denim canvases, embroidered cottons and linens. For a chic version, she chooses jackets and pea coats in light canvas and inspires a revisited colonial spirit with really sophisticated materials such as satin or ottoman, subtle colours, playful stripes or discrete motifs.

For city and work, the silhouette comprises trench coats and jackets in both a resolutely sportswear and masculine style that comes in stunning and innovative materials. At the same time, pant cuts no longer abide by standard rules, running the gamut from the most narrow leg to the widest, and even 33 cm "bell-bottoms".

A vast collection that refuses to conform and offers another side to femininity where women create their own fashion while affirming their difference.
