Vibram to partner with I.S.F.

A partnership agreement with I.S.F., the International Skyrunning Federation, allows the company to join as a sponsor next SKYRUNNER WORLD SERIES, the world championship runs from March to October 2009.

Vibram enters new spaces in outdoor and mountain activities, where it features a lasting presence in the service of safety, comfort and performance.

Past joining snowboard, freeride, climbing and trailrunning worlds, its partnership with ISF confirms Vibram's ability to introduce the quality of its products in most extreme and trendy sport activities.

With the recent addition of skyrunning to snowboarding, freeride, climbing and trail running, Vibram is becoming a major player in a number of increasingly popular and extreme sports. Safety, comfort and performance constitute the Vibram offer wherever mountain fans are confronted with rocks, narrow trails, ice and snow.

Vibram and skyrunning are in fact linking up again after an initial Vibram entry into the field several years ago, notably in a partnership with FILA. The world leader in soles recently signed a new partnership agreement with ISF, the International skyrunning federation.

Vibram has undertaken a special partnership this year for the Vibram Natural Games (France) and will be present at the North Face Mont-Blanc Ultra-trail event. Vibram will also benefit from the experience and technical advice of its technical consultant Marco Olmo, the well-known champion and a leading figure in trail running, as well as from Team Vibram Sport 2000 Lafuma.
