Designer Nandita Palchoudhuri, on the third day of Kolkata fashion week-II, showcased a wide range of her tangail, baluchari and dhakai saris manufactured by the craftsmen in West Bengal.
The designer has used all the natural fibres woven by the Bengali weavers in her wide collection, she said while addressing media professionals after her show.
Nandana Deb Sen, daughter of Nobel laureate Mr. Amartya Sen, was the show-stopper. She sashayed down the ramp in a red bordered white sari and traditional jewelry, providing a flavor of upcoming Durga Puja.
Nandita used variety of colours such as blue, green, red, black for the saris in her collection, besides, the white-based red & green bordered saris.
