Footwear etc., a well-established retailer of high quality, comfort footwear for over 23 years, debuts 25 new styles in the MBT Spring 2010 Collection, available online and in Footwear etc. retail stores.
More than just footwear, MBT shoes provide a positive effect on the entire body, not just the feet. Research has shown that if worn on a daily basis, MBT shoes help you tone your muscles and encourages better posture and stride while reducing stress and pressure on your back and joints. Manufactured by Swiss Masai, MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology and is also known as the “anti-shoe”, due to its patented multi-layered rocker sole designed to simulate walking and standing on uneven ground, which forces the body to maintain its natural balance. The new MBT Spring 2010 Collection consists of lightweight and airy styles for men and women. It includes an update to their best selling Kisumu sandal, the Kisumu2, available in all new uppers in top quality, full grain leather. The Kisumu 2 Sandal features a durable, impact-resistant Integrated Shank midsole. District manager Andrew Monarch says "we are excited to receive the new Kisumu 2 Sandal on MBT's lower profile sole. Among the newest styles available at Footwear etc. are the Women's Baridi and Women's Fora. The Baridi is a spin off of the very popular Mary Jane style shoes with playful color combinations, an easy tape hook & loop closure, and a highly breathable 3D mesh woven fabric material. It features a Dual Board Shank midsole consisting of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) in the heel and midfoot area, and nylon mixed with glass fibers in the forefoot area, providing high wearing comfort.
Available in 5 hot colors, the Women's MBT Fora is the sportiest look in the collection and includes all the features of the Baridi plus a rubber toecap and efficient lacing system.
The Men's MBT Kimondo is the counterpart to the Women's Fora – featuring a breathable 3D Mesh lining, 3D Mesh/Synthetic uppers and a Dual Board Shank midsole. Available in two sought-after colors – Black and Chime.
The Men's Sini model has a classic urban design with a modern look and feel. Constructed with Split and Nubuck leather, 3D Mesh materials and a Dual Board Shank midsole. This model, offered in Drizzle and White Nubuck, is available for pre-order with expected delivery in early February.
