Katydid collaborates with Brandon Rhyder

The Katydid Collection announced the availability of a “Rock Angel” tee in partnership with Texas country music artist Brandon Rhyder. The new women's tee is part of a cross-promotional merchandise deal between the Austin-based musician and the Dallas-based lifestyle brand. The creative collaboration supports Rhyder's No. 1 hit “Rock Angel,” the first single off his recently released “Head Above Water” album.

“Last year, I noticed one of my fans wearing a Rock Angel shirt, and it inspired one of my favorite songs for my new album,” said Rhyder. “When I learned the t-shirt was created by a Texas designer, I knew it could be a special pairing. We are excited about our new collaboration with Katydid Collection.”

The short-sleeve cotton tee is available on the Katydid Collection and Brandon Rhyder Web sites as well as at Rhyder's upcoming concerts through the summer. The screen-printed tee – available in black and chocolate brown features front and back angel wing motifs. A bright pink heart on the back pops against the dark tee and features Brandon Rhyder's signature logo.

“We are big Brandon Rhyder fans and were thrilled to learn that our tee inspired his #1 single,” said Katydid owner and designer Katy Messersmith. “Our new tee is already a hit with fans at Brandon's concerts. We are pleased to now offer the tee to more fans by offering the new 'Rock Angel' design on our Web sites.”
