On February 3, 2011, Amy Marie Goetz launched her premier collection, “A Kiss of the Orchid” benefiting Agenda Foundation. The runway show was held at Agenda Loft in Downtown LA, and presented 16 looks ranging from ready-to-wear to evening.

Each garment had a big appeal with well-constructed pieces and high-end fabrics. Each look was styled nicely with Vintage Glo Designs cuffs and earrings. A few key pieces were topped off with stylish hats from Izziana Millinery. Doors opened promptly at 7:00pm and guests socialized, enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails while listening to ambient music tailor-made for the anticipated runway show. Even the décor featured French painter Michael Stervinou's art on the walls (his art opening was held at Agenda Loft February 2). Amy Marie featured several prints in her collection inspired by his work.

“My Collection is inspired by modern artists of today, especially by Parisian painter Michael Stervinou. I was instantly inspired by his use of bold color and abstract proportions the way color in itself influences a mood. Each print makes you feel energetic and passionate.”—Amy Marie Goetz

Amy Marie's show consisted of several looks ranging from halter dresses, elegant blouses, pants, beautiful long skirts, and flowing evening gowns consisting of rich colors ranging from bronze to coral, and more. Amy's collection is suited for the red carpet and an elegant evening out.

“My passion is to create couture styles where I spend quality time designing and achieve an overall Amy Marie style that is timeless instead of trendy and fast fashion. Exclusive design in silhouette and modern drape create Amy Marie signature design aesthetic.”—Amy Marie Goetz

Immediately after the train of models in the show's finale, singer Kaylene Peoples appeared at the head of the runway and performed “Amy Marie,” a French song she wrote in honor of Amy Marie Goetz Women's Wear debut. Co-producer Rich Mouser soloed on guitar.

"Composing the song "Amy Marie" was such a thrill for me and my co-producer Rich Mouser. I had never written a song completely in French before. I really wanted it to reflect what Amy Marie was doing with her new collection. Launching her line in the salon-style venue Agenda Loft was so much like the first runway shows and so reminiscent of Coco Chanel's era. This was something Amy was passionate about. I wanted to make sure the song reflected her passion. I think we pulled it off that evening." Singer and Agenda Loft Co-Founder Kaylene Peoples

Later that evening, prizes, including EM & Co gift certificates, an Amy Marie Goetz original gown, two 1-hour training sessions by physical trainer, and a full deep tissue massage by Agenda Magazine Health/Fitness editor Anthony Heredia were raffled off to raise money for Agenda Foundation.

Sponsors included Dirty Sue, Cinema Makeup School, O.N.E. Coconut Water, and Agenda (Magazine, Loft, and Foundation). Red Carpet highlights included actress Chase Masterson, director/writer James Kerwin, LA Fashion Week producer Leanna Lewis, Brian Espinosa, fashion blogger Heather Petrey, and actress Irina Voronina.
