Simone Castelletti to launch customised 'Grace' in October

Customisation is the keyword at Italian women's shoes luxury brand Simone Castelletti in the Fall/Winter of 2018-19. The brand, founded in 2015 by Simone, Alessandro and Marianna Castelletti brothers, will launch personalised 'Grace' in October. The project is a special edition of the handcrafted cage sandal 'Grace', the brand's iconic model.

This October onwards, consumers can buy a pair of personalised Grace from the official website of the brand, where they will choose among a variety of 100 per cent Made in Italy textiles, from Prince of Wales check to pied de poule pattern or technical materials as neoprene, Simone Castelletti told Fibre2Fashion.

To match with the textiles, heels in different height and shapes are provided together with a wide colour palette, because the idea is to involve the customer in the creative experience of shoe-making. The final product will be a one-off shoe, handcrafted by Simone Castelletti's artisans in a numbered limited edition: only up to 50 pairs of tailored shoes a season, Castelletti addded. (RR)
