Istanbul born designer Nihan Peker started her show with a modern ladylike ready-to-wear collection on the third day of the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul.

With an abundance of concrete and marble prints, the chic line was a mix of masculine and feminine elements accentuated by envelope like folds. The sometimes bold and sometimes demure ensembles included pants, dresses, skirts, shorts and suits.

Sinop-born young designer Ayhan Yetgin featured a fall/winter collection based on autumnal tones. The range showcased an array of structured outfits with distinctive architectural style lines and folds based on sombre shades of black and grey.

Özlem Kaya, known for her effortless feminine designs, presented a collection full of thickly layered oversized apparels, such as jackets, skirts and single toned suits, made of chiffon and nylon.

Elif Cigizoglu, who has earlier worked under Donna Karan, featured a classy collection fit for the elites. The luxuriously modern line included skirts, fur jackets and floor-length coats in black, beige and burgundy tones.
