“The dates have proven optimal for the industry and obviously offer the right setting for concentrated work at the right point in time,” he added.

"The collection cycle has come extremely forward once again and this is why the pre-view dates are getting more and more important for us," Kai Adrian with Boss Orange said.

"We are already ordering fabric swatches and some metrage here for prototypes and furthermore, we also find real eye-catchers here time and again, with which we work on the collection basics,” Adrain too added.

Jennifer Rees-Bowen from Calvin Klein noted, “For us View simply comes at the perfect point in time to drill deeper into the collection creation.”

“We start working out initial concepts as early as May and it is all the more appealing to be able to peruse some 70 per cent of the finished collections here in mid July,” she observed.

"View provides gives us room for the necessary inspiration that no good collection can do without," Saia Gulzar of Tommy Hilfiger stated.

The organiser noted that apart from the high visitor attendance, which was up 19 per cent, their length of stay has also increased markedly as they used both trade fair days for browsing collections.

The final collection developments for the A/W 2016-17 season will be on display at the up-coming Munich Fabric Start from September 1-3, 2015.
