Casadei launches Pin-up collection for A/W 2012

The collection includes futuristic metallic accents, from bronze to gold and silver, as well as a mixture of colors that recreates a rainbow. The Pin-up pump is also presented in an intricate version in leather netting featuring ruched leather detail and a patent leather ankle boot.

“The Fall/Winter collection is built around a new pump called the Pin Up, which I designed in different versions to be feminine, romantic, ambiguous and seductive but always wearable,” says Cesare Casadei, the creative director of Casadei. The Pin-Up, the perfect everyday high heeled pump, is refined with a high-cut throat shape.                     

The CASADEI BETTY PAGE COLLECTION is available at the Casadei boutique in The Dubai Mall and in Galeries Lafayette.

The Casadei label was founded in 1958 by Quinto and Flora Casadei. Quinto Casadei—still at the helm of the footwear and leather facilities of S. Mauro Pascoli in the province of Forli—proved strong and true when he decided to expand his small crafts laboratory, in which he had already started to produce dream footwear of sophisticated workmanship.
