Golf Galaxy to relocate store in New Jersey

Golf Galaxy, a full-line, interactive golf retailer, announces its plans to relocate its store in Paramus, New Jersey. The grand opening celebration is slated for May 2nd and 3rd at the Paramus Towne Square (240 Route 17 North). New store hours will be Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

"We are extremely excited about our new Paramus location. The larger format store provides golfers of all ages and abilities with more of what they want," said Doug Wurl, president, Golf Galaxy. "We are focused on delivering the best one-on-one attention, guidance, and support from our experienced PGA/LPGA professionals and staff, to provide individuals with what they need to play and improve their game."

Throughout Grand Opening weekend, Golf Galaxy will host a variety of giveaways, competitions, and activities. Along with the daily events, appearances by LPGA player Lydia Ko (Friday 5/2 from 6-8 p.m.), PGA player David Duval (Saturday 5/3 from 2-4 p.m.) and Golf Channel personality Lauren Thompson (Saturday 5/3 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.) are scheduled.

Customers will have access to the store's two PGA/LPGA professionals, five certified fitting experts, tour-quality club service technicians and an experienced sales team. The store features four state-of-the-art manufacturers' fitting centers, a full service club tech workshop, two indoor demo ranges, an over 2,500 square foot putting green, a dedicated women's section and a world-class apparel shop.

Measuring over 45,000 square feet in size, the new Paramus store serves up the ultimate display in golf equipment, accessories, apparel, and clubs from a wide set of brands, including: TaylorMade, adidas, Titleist, Callaway, PING, Adams Golf, Cleveland Golf, NikeGolf, Cobra, PUMA, Under Armour, and Foot Joy.
