Marine clothing producer Dickie Walker Marine Inc announced its common stock will continue to be listed on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market via an exception from the minimum $2,500,000 shareholders' equity requirement.
While Dickie Walker Marine failed to meet that requirement as of December 31, 2004, the Company was granted a temporary exception from the standard subject to the Company meeting certain conditions as of August 15, 2005 and September 30, 2005. The exception was granted by a Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel pursuant to the previously announced hearing that was held on July 14, 2005.
In the event the Company is deemed to have met the terms of the exception, it shall continue to be listed on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market. The Company believes that it can meet these conditions; however, there can be no assurance that it will do so.
If at some future date the Company's securities should cease to be listed on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market, the Company's securities may thereafter trade on the OTC-Bulletin Board or in the Pink Sheets. For the duration of the exception, the Company's Nasdaq symbol will be DWMAC.
