Groupe Bikini appoints Mrs. Fortin as Chairwoman of BoD

Groupe Bikini Village inc announces the appointment of Mrs Hélène F. Fortin, an established and respected professional accountant and company's director, as Chairwoman of its Board of Directors.

Mrs. Fortin has gained a great deal of experience over the last three decades through her involvement as a chartered accountant in numerous audit assignments and other special professional service contracts. Her achievements allowed her to be involved in many type of activities including mergers & acquisitions, financing activities, financial & tax planning, training, negotiations and assessments of internal and financial controls.

Mrs. Fortin, currently an assurance partner with the CA firm Demers Beaulne, acts as Chairwoman for Loto-Québec and Infrastructure Québec, as a board member in different boards of directors such as Bellus Santé (TSX), Assuris et ComCorp Life Insurance Co., Voiceage, Concordia University, Fondation Armand-Frappier, Fondation des étoiles and she is also acting as a member of the department audit committee for Canada Economic Development for Quebec regions and for School of public services.

Mrs. Fortin holds a diploma in public accountancy from McGill University in Montreal, a degree in corporate governance from the McGill Executive institute and a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Finance from Concordia University in Montreal.
