Asian PTA dips on Dec 15 from ample availability

PTA prices dipped in Asia on Monday (Dec 15), due to lower upstream product prices in the region.
Ample product availability and sluggish downstream buying sentiments too supported the price fall.
In FE Asia, prices were at US$ 665/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to the prices at the end of the last week.
In SE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 685/ton, down by US$ 5/ton as against US$ 690/ton at end of previous week.
In India, PTA was offered at US$ 690/ton, also a decline of US$ 5/ton vis-à-vis prices by the end of the last week.
In China too, prices went down by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 665/ton yesterday.

In China too, prices went down by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 665/ton yesterday.
