Walmart CEO Doug McMillon recently announced that the company will build a new home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The campus will have accommodations for a more digitally native workforce and space to encourage greater collaboration and speed. It will have improved parking, meal services, fitness, and natural light, McMillon said on the company website.
The campus will be integrated into the community trail system, for easy walking and cycling access. The project will support a culture of servant leadership, which puts customers and associates first, and maintaining the company’s commitment to fiscal and environmental responsibility, he said.
