Labels maker Nilorn develops new RFID technology

The Nilorn Group has developed an innovation in RFID technology in collaboration with Craft of Scandinavia. The solution is intended for brands who sell within many different stores – a selfinventory shop rack. This new breakthrough can make restocking a store more efficient, which increases sales and profitability. The shop rack will be unveiled at the technical exhibition in Stockholm on 16-19 October, on stand A35:11.

”Nilorn's self-inventory shop rack allows brand owners to check sales trends in the customers'stores, without having to make site visits. The brand owner asks the shop rack to take an inventory of the products currently on the rack. The shop rack then sends an e-mail with the current status to the brand owner. The brand owner can then distribute new products to the store, so that it will always have the full range”, says Per Wagnas of the Nilorn Group.

With goods such as underwear, shirts and piqué sweaters, which constantly need replenishment in the store, and which have their own location on a shop rack, this solution can give a fantastic improvement. Since the goods are always on display in the store, no shopping opportunities are lost. The results are higher sales turnover and increased profitability.

”Information on the current stock levels at our retailers is exceptionally important. We can rapidly top up the store's range, so that they always have the appropriate range in stock. The consumer is satisfied, the store is satisfied and we can act more quickly”, says Hans Larsson, Country Manager for Craft.
