Introduced at ITMA ‘15 in Milan, the Webshop displays the spare parts in the different levels of a machine. It has about 1,500 orderable parts and components which can be ordered directly. An enquiry can also be sent. Repeat orders can be dealt with by using the efficient document management system. Intuitive menu navigation and the logical layout make working with this B2B platform easy and efficient.
“A large number of people registered to use the system following the successful premiere in Milan. We are pleased with the feedback we have received during the introductory phase,” said Marion Högg, sales manager.
“Behind our Webshop Spare Parts system, there is a vibrant, dynamic concept, which we are constantly adapting and developing to meet the needs of our customers,” said, Stelios Tzavelas, Webshop administrator.
Karl Mayer’s Webshop team is further developing the conceptual design and technical applications of this ordering platform. The company plans to extend the product range to Karl Mayer’s other business units in future. More locations will also be linked into the Webshop Spare Parts system, making it available to more customers. (HO)
