In May 2017, Ahlstrom-Munksjö earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, a collaborative platform that provides sustainability evaluation and rating for global supply chains.
This year, Ahlstrom-Munksjö also joined the United Nations Global Compact. As a signatory, the company is dedicated to responsible practices from the highest level of leadership to the most local concern in a supply chain or at a production site. "We have a strong commitment to sustainabilty and seek to ensure that the fibers, chemicals, and other inputs are ethically and responsibly sourced.
