Asian PX prices show mixed movement in past week

Paraxylene prices showed mixed trend in Asia in the last week.
In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 805/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.62 per cent compared to previous week due to weak demand sentiments in region.
In SE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, showing a gain of 0.61 per cent over previous week due to bullish buying trend in the region.
In Taiwan, average prices kept firm and quoted at US$ 820/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week due to modest improvement in business in the region.
