Epson, manufacturers of inkjet printers, digital printing systems, 3LCD projectors, smart glasses, sensing systems, and industrial robots, has bagged three Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) 2016 Product of the Year awards, which brings together leaders of the specialty imaging industry, for its SureColor F-Series dye-sublimation printers line.

The award is a second year in a row for the SureColor F9200 64-inch dye-sublimation printer. Epson products recognised in the SGIA's prestigious Product of the Year competition include SureColor F9200 roll-to-toll dye-sublimation in textile category, SureColor F6200 roll-to-roll dye-sublimation in metal category, and SureColor P20000 roll-to-roll aqueous (under 64 inches) category.

Timothy Check, product manager, professional imaging, Epson America, Inc. said, “It is a true honour to win across three categories in this prestigious award competition. Being compared to the best in the world in this competition, it is a testament to the quality, performance and price position that the SureColor F9200 has been able to win back-to-back awards.”

The competition judged submissions across 19 categories for output devices and 29 categories for non-output devices. (GK)
