HeiQ to show its home textile products in Heimtextil 2017

HeiQ, a leader in textile innovation creating some effective, durable, and high-performance textile effects in the market today, is set to show its range of products from home textiles at the Heimtextil 201 expo, international trade fair for contract and home textiles, to be held from January 10 to 13, 2017, in Messe Frankfurt, Germany, in booth 8.0 K45.

The high-performance technologies of the Swiss textile innovator also bring added value to home textiles. International home accessory retailers as well as specialised manufacturers such as BekaertDeslee have already enhanced their home textile collections with HeiQ’s technologies to create differentiation, added value and well-being for their consumers.

Originally developed for use in outdoor and sportswear, HeiQ’s technologies work perfectly for home textiles. They provide increased hygiene, thermo-regulating, freshness and quick dry functionalities, reducing cost as well as the environmental footprint of household textiles. Upholstery, carpets, curtains, bed sheets, mattress ticking, and towels can be successfully upgraded with HeiQ’s bluesign approved and Oekotex conform technologies.

Intelligently thermo-regulating HeiQ Smart Temp and odour-controlling HeiQ Fresh Tech create an ideal sleeping environment, whereas environment friendly HeiQ Eco Dry keeps carpets and rugs clean and stain-free for longer.

Companies are increasingly aiming at a reduced carbon footprint and spending a significant amount of money on renewable energy and climate change prevention. HeiQ offers HeiQ Clean Tech as a solution that significantly reduces carbon emissions.

Applicable to any home textile based on polyester, HeiQ Clean Tech improves the dye quality and accelerates the dyeing process with disperse dyes by 1/3 to achieve cost, water energy, and CO2 savings of about 30 per cent, thereby strongly reducing waste water and lower the carbon footprint. (GK)
