Insipid market pulls down Asian benzene prices

Benzene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to insipid market conditions in the region.
In Korea, average prices went down by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 725/ton in the last week, a decline of 1.36 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton to US$ 730/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a drop of 1.35 per cent.
In India, average prices decreased by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 735/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 1.34 per cent.
