At the SGIA Expo, Miller Weldmaster's AES1900 was declared as a winner in the 'Product of the Year' expo competition for the Finishing Equipment Category.

“This event is held to showcase 'digital imaging products that keep the specialty imaging industry moving forward',” a Miller Weldmaster press release said.

According to Miller Weldmaster, the AES1900 is an advanced all-in-one automated finishing solution and its automated features allow for more efficient product finishing.

Designed to weld and grommet single-panels or produce product off roll, the AES1900 can weld and grommet 3'x5' banners every 30 seconds.

“This system can accommodate a wide range of product sizes, and it is capable of producing a variety of seam types,” the company informed.

A complete operator interface comes with helpful product memory and specification features and an automated transport system for continuous production and a simple material exit for gathering finished products.

Along with the system, Miller Weldmaster provides professional training for machine operation, machine maintenance, and product manufacturing.

Miller Weldmaster supplies rotary hot air, hot wedge, and impulse welding equipment to the industrial fabric and thermoplastics industries.

A recipient of the 2013 President's 'E' Award for Excellence in Exporting and a 2014 IFF Innovation Award, Miller Weldmaster has developed many of the first advancements in heat sealing technology.

Its applications include fabrication and automation of various products from awnings to truck tarpaulins and even inflatable boats. (AR)
