Mimaki printer bags Golden Seal award at Grafima 2016

Mimaki, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting machines for the graphics, textile, and industrial markets, has announced that its JFX500-2131 UV-LED printer has bagged the “Golden Seal” award as the best printer at the 38th Grafima 2016 fair, international fair for graphics industries, held in September 2016, in Serbia.

The winners were chosen by a jury chaired by the president Srecko Bugarinovic and jury members Velibor Bozovic and Kristina Jovanovic. The award was received by Vladimir Milakovic from Sitotehnika, sales and marketing manager for the Mimaki products and Patrick van Soelen, Mimaki area sales manager.

The Mimaki JFX500-2131 uses UV LED technology for printing applications in very high resolution in formats up to 210 x 310 cm. It has been developed for extremely fast printing on rigid and flexible materials. Maximum printing speed in CMYK setting is 60m2/h. With its 6 printing head system, this printer is up to 2.5 times faster when compared to other JFX series models. Advanced LED curing technology enables printing high resolution images and text as small as 2 pt. This model also enables printing with white ink on a wide range of materials. This feature is most commonly used in the POS industry, printing high-quality signage (sign industry) and packaging industry. More types of UV-LED inks are used to print on a variety of materials such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, cardboard and more. (GK)
