Propylene prices in the Far East region which had fallen on August19, continued to do so on August 26 and fell back by US $25 per ton, when compared with those prevailing on the previous Wednesday.
FOB South Korea slid back from US $1100-1102 per ton to touch $1075-1077 per ton on August 26.
Propylene (polymerization level) for FD Northwest Europe touched €770-780 per metric ton and that of CIF Northwest Europe stood at €760-770 per metric ton on closing hours of Wednesday.
Propylene prices in the US markets, which have been witnessing a bullish trend since the last two weeks continued to march from US cent 49.630-49.880 per lb recorded on August 19 to US cent 52.38-52.63 per lb on August 26.
