Ethylene prices gain across worldwide markets

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia, which had grown marginally on the previous Wednesday, stretched out and jumped by US $10 per ton on September 2, when compared with prices prevailing last Wednesday.
Prices in CFR Northeast Asia grew from $954-956 per metric ton to $964-966 per metric ton on September 2. CFR Southeast prices too followed suit and moved up from $1055-1057 per metric ton to $1074-1076 per metric ton, up by $19 per ton.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest Europe too scooted from €810-815 per metric ton to €845-850 per metric ton, while CIF Northwest Europe leaped from $910-920 per metric ton, to $1,000-1,010 per metric ton, up by $90 per ton, on September 2.
Not to be left behind, prices of ethylene in the US markets kept up the momentum of the last few weeks and shifted from US cent 27.88-28.13 per pound on Aug 26 to US cent 28.880-29.130 per pound, yesterday.
