Iran's handicrafts exports have increased by 20 percent during the last six years, according to Ms. Tahmineh Daniali, Deputy Head of the Handicrafts Department of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).
While speaking at the inauguration of the Sixth Mashhad Handmade Carpet Fair and the Iran Handicrafts Exhibition, she said that Iran's handicrafts exports to 60 countries have touched US$ 700 million.
Iran's handicrafts exports to China accounted for more than US$ 30 million in 2010.
