West Elm launches Allegra Hicks home décor collection

West Elm, a brand of Williams-Sonoma Inc., has joined hands with Allegra Hicks, an Italian fashion and textiles designer based in London, for designing an elite Fall 2011 range of soft home decor items.
The new collection hailed as the 'Allegra Hicks Collaboration' includes home textiles pieces inspired by botanical designs, one upholstered headboard and three upholstered chairs, which are now put up for sale at West Elm.
The product range of the new collection comprises of four types of cotton and hemp pillow covers, four upholstered furniture pieces, two types of woven and looped rugs, two types of sheer window panels and three varieties of special order fabrics that Hicks designed exclusively for the brand.
The designs of this collection comprise mostly of organic themes like botanical, floral, waves and such others.
The new collection well displays Hicks' tranquil, bohemian fashion while retaining the style of the West Elm brand.
