Atul Ltd, part of a US$1.5 billion Lalbhai Group, is one of the oldest business houses of India. Established in 1947, Atul became the first Indian company to manufacture dyes on a large-scale in India and produces a complete range of dyes and auxiliary chemicals for Textile and Paper industries. Atul Colors specializes in product ranges like Vat, Sulphur and Reactive dyes which meet global safety standards and exports nearly 45 % of the products to more than 50 countries. Textile chemicals supplied by the new joint venture company coupled with dyes supplied by Atul Colors will together offer a comprehensive range of products to customers across India. Rudolf Atul Chemicals Ltd, the joint venture company, will become a total solution provider and help the two partners to participate in the growing market of textile chemicals in the country.
