Spot market of PTA imports was temporarily stable. Market offers for Taiwan stock were US $1290 / ton, downstream bids were around US $1275 / ton, and actually negotiated price was around US $1280 / ton.

Offers for South Korean stock were US $1,275 / ton, downstream bids were around US $1265 / ton, and actually negotiated price was US $1270 / ton.

PTA market conditions in North China appeared stable on August 29, cargo holders offered at about 10,100 Yuan / ton, downstream inquires were about 10,000 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was around 10,050 Yuan / ton, trading atmosphere was moderate, actual negotiation was light.

PTA market conditions in East China were flat, trading sentiment improved slightly, cargo holders offered around 10,100 Yuan / ton, sporadic bids from downstream sector were around 10,000 Yuan / ton, and actually negotiated price ranged between 10,000-10,050 Yuan / ton.
