Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) Chairman-elect Amanullah Qureshi has sought a bailout package from the Government to reduce the impact of heavy losses caused to cotton crop during the ongoing rainy season, especially in Sindh.
Mr. Qureshi said that nearly 50 percent of cotton is damaged in Sindh and urged the Government to waive-off agricultural loans given to farmers. He further asked the Government to provide more loans to cotton growers at lower interest rates.
He made an appeal to ginners to give maximum donations to help the needy in flooded areas of Sindh.
