The other joint organiser, China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA) said that in the Cashmere World 2011, their key objective is to create an even wider platform for all the international cashmere players to come together and acquire a deeper understanding of the latest industrial development in China. CFNA is particularly interested in the topic of cashmere product grading system, and to strengthen the communications between China and Italy. Recent statistics revealed the import value of cashmere products from Italy to China has increased by 39.1% in 2009, and 10% for the 6 months between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011.
Report also indicates that currently over 75% of cashmere raw materials are originated from China, whereas 90% of them are processed in China as well. Therefore, the dynamic and significant role in such a fast-moving market must be kept a close eye on.
Based on the successful launch of this Trade Fair last year, the organisers aim for this year to be an even more successful and interesting event.
