Polyester DTY price continues to decline

The prices of polyester draw textured yarn (DTY) in the domestic Chinese market continue to decline, with market atmosphere remaining moderate. With the decline in sales turnover, an increase is witnessed in the supply, although the current inventory levels are not high.
The decrease in the price of polyester POY and the increased supply of polyester DTY in the market has also led to the decline in the price of polyester DTY.
Currently, leading DTY manufacturing companies are offering 75D/72F DTY at 19,100 Yuan/ton, while the price of 150D/48F DTY is at 16,700 Yuan/ton and the price of 300D/96F DTY is at 15,600 Yuan/ton.
There is a slight increase in DTY inventory levels to two weeks. Hence, in the short term, the DTY prices are expected to see some adjustment.
